Job Summary
We're seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to care for our wonderful individuals with developmental disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Promote independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure.
- Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community's experiences and activities.
- Maintaining knowledge of the individual's requirements.
- Complying with the Agency's policies and procedures.
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with the Agency's procedures
- Additional duties upon request
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Direct Support Professional or similar role.
- High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- CPR and first aid certification.
- Completion of provided Agency training
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual
- Capable of using smart phone
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
